Respirable fibres


Respirable fibres are defined by the WHO: particulates with a lenght (L) > 5 οΏ½m (micrometer), a diameter (D) < 3 οΏ½m and the ratio L/D > 3. Ceramic and mineral wool fibres are shorter than 200 οΏ½m.
